Damai Puri Resort and Spa

>> Friday, October 21, 2011

Damai Puri Resort and Spa, previously known as Damai Lagoon, is a great holiday spot for you and me.

Damai Puri Resort and Spa is located approximately 30km from Kuching City and 40km from Kuching International Airport. It is a 10ha beach side resort surrounded by the South China Sea and the Borneo Rainforest. Many locals come here during weekends, public holidays, and also school holidays to spend their holidays. It will be almost impossible for you to book a room during holiday season if you are making a late booking.

As one of the best beaches you can find in Kuching, it showcases 207 guestrooms and suites and exceptional facilities which include 5 signature restaurants and bars, 2 fabulous swimming pools, a gymnasium, an outdoor tennis court, children’s club, a grand ballroom and 6 meeting rooms. It also offers various leisure and recreational activities including water sports activities, jungle trekking, and mountain climbing.

If you happen to have your holidays in Kuching one day, don’t forget to visit there!

Malaysia-China Friendship Park

>> Tuesday, August 30, 2011

The Malaysia-China Friendship Park(马中公园) was built in 2005 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Malaysia-China diplomatic relations.

It holds a land area of 2.8 hectares and is located at Tabuan Heights, Jalan Song, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. At the park, you will be able to see a big statue of Zheng He, standing above a big ship, a Chinese architectural style restaurant and many more.

It is a beautiful park where people gather for sports activities like tai chi, jogging, exercising, and even dancing. Of course, it is also a favorite location for dating, especially at night. If you visit the park at night, you will see many sweet couples sitting on the benches, chatting, hugging and even kissing.

So, if you come to Kuching next time, have a visit there.
