Velocity Indoor Go Karting

Have you ever heard of Velocity Indoor Go Karting located in Bintawa? If you have never heard about it, then I will try to introduce it to you. If not mistaken, this place has been exist for more then a year or two now. Since the day it opened, I have always wanted to go there. However, only recently I managed to go.

Now, let us take a look in the inside. Once you have entered this gate,

you will find this on your left. As the words are written, this is the place for you to play water tag.

Next, let us go into the building where we get to play go kart. Now, these are basically what you will see from the entrance.

Noticed the door with the "Danger-No Entry" sign? That is the entrance to the racing track. After you have bought your ticket, wear all the gears needed, and are ready to start your game, you may enter that door.

I am sure that some of you would like to know the price first before going there right? So here are the prices. They provide different prices on different days for different demands. So you might need to check and determine which days and prices suit you the most. Of course, if you would like to play there often, you should become their member as member pay less.

Before you start your race, you will have to know the rules and most importantly, obey it to prevent yourself from getting hurt. Even though they had the rules on the wall inside the track, the person in charge there will also instruct them to you before or after you sit into the kart. If you do not want to hurt yourself, drive slower as the kart can go real fast until you will be able to drift or maybe even spin. So please be careful. But of course, what is the fun if you drive slowly?

Richmond Place

Today, I am going to introduce to you the western cafe that my friends and I had our dinner two nights ago, i.e. the Richmond Place. If you lived in Kuching, I am sure that you have heard this name before. It is one of the famous places to eat western food.

Now let us look at the menu. Not very clear huh? Go and find out by yourself then. By the way, I forgot to shoot down the price of the beverage.

Next, these are what we had ordered, their price, and my rating on the food.

Garlic bread. RM2.50. My rating: 6/10. The taste of garlic is not strong enough and not very crunchy.

French fries. RM5. My rating: 7/10. The fries are not as hot and crunchy as desired.

Sprite float and cola float. RM3. My rating: 9/10. You know la, junk food ma.

Lamb shank. RM20. My rating: 8/10. I had a slice of it and I do not really like it.

Chicken chop. RM8. I cannot make a comment on it because I had never tried it.

Fish and chips. RM10. My rating: 9/10. The fish is nice but the look of the dish is not that satisfying.

Garden Steamboat Restaurant

Today, I am going to introduce you to Garden Steamboat Restaurant Kuching. By looking at the name, I am sure that you know that this is a place for you to eat steamboat.
Garden Steamboat Restaurant is located at No. 28, Jalan Nanas, 93400 Kuching. Next to it is the Cafe Heritage and Magenta Restaurant. If you have never being there before, it might be hard for you to notice it. This is because the banner for Garden Steamboat Restaurant is almost hidden behind the trees. So, I suggest you to find Magenta first because the name board it just at the road side. Once you see the Magenta Restaurant, then you will also find Garden Steamboat Restaurant.To make it easier for you, these sign board are just located at the entrance. One is on the left, the other is on the right.

The food they provide.Besides the above food, they also provide fried crab and prawn. If you ask me whether the crab and the prawn are nice or not? I can only tell you that you get to eat a lot of spices sometimes and none of my friends like it.
This is the amount of two plates. I forgot to photograph the picture of a plate of fried crab. Sorry.
This is the first plate of food that I ate that night. The curry lamb taste real nice. But the others are so so. Finally...
And the bill... 1 person is RM23. One pot of Chinese Tea is RM6, and you get to refill hot water into the tea pot for free.
Conclusion is, I do not think that I will go there again. Not much food to choose from. But if you have never being there, you can go and have a try. Maybe our taste is different.

Country Court

Just now, went to eat lunch at Country Court. It is located at No. 222, Twin Tower, Rock Road. The foods are quite nice, and the price should be ok for a middle class family to have lunch there.
We ordered 6 types of food. The following are what we have ordered, their prices, and my rating on the food.

Beijing Roasted Duck. One for RM32, half for RM17. My rating is 7/10. So so lo.

Foochow Sea Cucumber Soup. RM10. My rating is 8.5/10. Quite nice actually.

Changkok Manis Fried with Egg. RM8. My rating is 8/10. Who on Earth ordered this?

Marlbo Bean Curd. RM8. My rating is 6.5/10. My friend keeps say this very nice.

Butter Prawn. RM12. My rating is 8/10. I think it's not in the menu.

A picture of all that we have ordered. Got one Bitter Gourd Fried with Egg there actually. However, I did not take any picture of it because I dislike it. Haha. By the way, it is not in the menu as well.
My drink. Lime Juice. RM2.50. My rating is 7/10. Wonder why the color is like that. They include the skin also?
